“22 Days Kailash Trek via Simikot”

Day 1: Kathmandu: Arrival transfer at hotel, rest of day is free

Day 2: Kathmandu: After breakfast Kathmandu sightseeing includes Pashupatinath, Budhanilkantha, Swyambhunath Stup, Patan City, rest of day for prepare. Evening- Program briefing.

Day 3: Nepalganj: After breakfast fly from Kathmandu-Nepalganj overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Simikot / Majgaon: After breakfast fly Nepalganj to Simikot, Start trek to Majgaon (2270m) camp.

Day 5: Kermi: Trek Majgaon- Kermi (2690) camp.

Day 6: Yalbang: Trek Kermi-Yalbang (2850m) camp.

Day 7: Tumkot: Trek Yalbang-Tumkot (3180m) camp.

Day 8: Sip-Sip: Trek Tumkot-Sip-Sip (4330m) camp.

Day 9: Hilsa: Sip-Sip-Hilsa (3860m) camp.

Day 10: Taklakot: Drive to Taklakot (4550m) Rest of day is acclimatization at Purang (Taklakot)-(4000m).

Day 11: Mansarovar: Drive to Mansarovar (4500m) camp

Day 12: Darchen: Spiritual activities at Mansarovar and proceed to Darchen by completing circumambulation of Mansarovar. Overnight stay at Darchen guesthouse.

Day 13: Trek to Serlung Gompa: After breakfast we start to trek to Serlung Gompa. From where we can view of Nandi Parbat, Asta Pada, Dakshin Murti Sivalaya, Kailashi Ganga and Parbat of Astha Matrikagan, back to Tarchen and prepare for next day Kailash parikrama. Overnight stays at guesthouse.

Day 14: Tarchen to Driaphuk (4890m.): This is the first day of Kailash Parikrama. We start our Parikrama after breakfast as earlier as possible. This day have to walk about 07 hours continue. Yak will carry our all-essential equipments. Overnight stay at Driaphuk in Tent.

Day 15: Driaphuk to Zuthulphuk (4890m.): The day is very sensitive and has to pass Dolma-La, 5,600m above sea level. The weather is unpredictable in Dolma-La and any time can change and start to snow storm. So we try to start our journey as earlier as possible. In route, we can Darshan Gaurikunda. But it is very difficult to go and touch. Overnight stay at Zuthulphuk in tent.

Day 16: Zuthulphuk to Tarchen/Mansarovar: This is the day we finish our parikrama of Kailash at JongJirpu. We drive to Mansarovar. Overnight stay at the bank of Mansarovar in tent.

Day 17: Taklakot: Drive Mansarovar to Taklakot, overnight at hotel.

Day 18: Yalbang: Trek to Yalbang, camp.

Day 19: Kermi: Trek to Kermi, camp.

Day 20: Majgaon: Trek to Majgaon, camp.

Day 21: Nepalganj: Fly to Simikot / Nepalganj / Kathmandu, overnight at hotel.

Day 22: Kathmandu Airport: After breakfast departure transfer to airport.
