Tilicho Lake Trekking
Situated in the Annapurna range of the Central Nepal Himalaya Tilicho Tal ( lake) at 4,919m is one of the highest of its size in the world. It stretches for 4km and is about 1km wide and lies at the foot of Tilocho peak 7,134 mtrs.
This Trans-Himalayan adventure begins with a spectacular flight from Kathmandu or Pokhara up the Marsyangdi valley to the airstrip at Hongde, in the Manang district. We soon leave the lodges on the main trail to head up toward Tilicho Tal. These high reaches of the Nepal Himal are the habitat of the Himalayan tahr (mountain goat) and the elusive snow leopard, among other mammals. We have designed two routes both are challenging and present some fine high altitude trekking.
This itineray allows us to visit the temple at Muktinath a holy pilgrimage site sacred to both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims alike. The trip ends in Jomsom with an early morning flight to Pokhara.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu &transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu. Sightseing in Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Swyambhunath Stupa, boudhanath Stupa & Pashupatinath Temple.
Day 03: Flight or drive to Pokhara
Day 04: fly to Manang (3400 m).
Day 05: Trek to Khanshar(3500 m).
Day 06: Trek to Tilicho Base Camp(5200m).
Day 07: Rest day at Tilicho Base camp.
Day 08: Walk to Tilicho Lake.
Day 09: Trek back to Khansar(3500m)
Day 10: Stay in Yak Kharka.
Day 11: Trek to Thorong Phedi(4500 m)
Day 12: Cross Thorang La pass(5415m) / trek down to Muktinath(3810m)
Day 13: Trek down to Jomsom.
Day 14: Flight to Pokhara (17 minutes) / transfer hotel.
Day 15: Pokhara at leisure.
Day 15: Fly or drive Kathmandu.
Day 16: Warm Departure.

Day 04: Trek to Baundada (1310m).
Day 05: Bahundada to jagat (1430m).
Day 06: Jagat (1430m) to Tal (1920m)
Day 07: Tal to Dharapani(1820m)
Day 08: Dharapani to Chame (2630m)
Day 09: Chame (2630m ) - Pisang (3200m)
